How to Turn Your Donkey Into a Lionhorse?
You may hear the term lionhorse the first time. As a believer or Christian leader you might be familiar with learning new revelations every single day.
It is hard for non-believers, to understand these types of terms and the deep meaning behind them.
Even sometimes believers are facing a hard time understanding the parables and Metaphors we listen from different preachers and Bible teachers.
Lionhorse reminds me of two things:
Lion= Courage
Horse= Strength
I was praying alone my our prayer room at my home-based church here in Pakistan. I saw a vision of a Golden face lion whose half-back is like a Horse circling around me at high speed. I was not afraid nor have any kind of fear, as Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7, For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Instead, I ask Holy Spirit what does it really mean?
The meaning I received about this special creature is that Lord wants me to run in a ministry like a Horse, a Horse is an animal that is not easily tired by running. We know this animal has the power of running for more than 3 to 4 hours continuously without the need for rest.
So, Holy Spirit showed me that He wants me to lead in a ministry like a horse and He will give me unending Strength of His own power.
And the meaning Lion and especially the face of a lion represents Courage, as Ministers we all need Courage, and Courage is a gift of the Holy Spirit.
Lord showed me that you have to face all things in your ministry like a lion faces his enemies. One of the best things about a lion is he never turns back he faces his enemies with courage and never runs back. He could die but not run back easily.
Now what do I really mean by turning your Donkey into Lionhorse?
I have observed, very closely that our human body is similar to a donkey. If you will not ride your body, this body going to behave like a donkey and it is not easily controlled by you, especially when it takes its light and does not have self-control.
Turning donkey into lionhorse, simply means that you need to train your body to face life with courage and strength and never give -up and stay focused and control things we can control.
And below verse is powerful:
“The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.” 1 Corinthians 14:32
