How to Strengthen Your Relationship with God

Strengthening your relationship with God is a personal and transformative journey that requires intentional effort and commitment. Begin by setting aside dedicated time each day for prayer, meditation, and studying God’s Word. Engage in honest and heartfelt conversations with God, sharing your joys, concerns, and desires while also listening for His guidance. Dive into the Scriptures, seeking wisdom and understanding, and allowing its truths to shape your thoughts and actions.

Express your love and adoration for God through personal and communal worship experiences. Serve others and demonstrate love, following the example of Jesus. Seek out community and fellowship with other believers to find support, encouragement, and opportunities for growth. Embrace moments of silence and solitude to create space for reflection and to experience God’s presence. Strengthening your relationship with God requires a genuine and wholehearted commitment to seek Him, grow in faith, and deepen your connection with the Creator who loves you unconditionally.

1. Humble Yourself and Pray

To deepen our relationship with God, it is crucial to embrace humility and prioritize prayer. Humility involves recognizing our dependence on God and surrendering our self-centered desires. Through prayer, we approach God with a humble heart, laying down our burdens, confessing our shortcomings, and seeking His guidance and wisdom.

Prayer is a sacred conversation where we express our love, gratitude, and needs to our Heavenly Father. It is in this humble and sincere act of prayer that we open ourselves to God’s transformative work in our lives. Through prayer, we align ourselves with God’s will, experience His grace, and find comfort, strength, and peace. By humbling ourselves and making prayer a consistent practice, we invite God’s presence and nurture a deeper connection with Him, fostering spiritual growth and a greater understanding of His love and purpose for our lives.

2. Read and Study Your Bible

Developing a close relationship with God requires prioritizing the reading and study of the Bible. The Bible is not merely a book, but a living and inspired Word from God, containing His wisdom, guidance, and truth. When we engage in regular Bible reading, we open ourselves to receive God’s revelation, His promises, and His plan for our lives. Studying the Bible allows us to delve deeper into its teachings, explore its historical and cultural context, and gain a profound understanding of its message.

Through the Scriptures, we encounter stories of faith, examples of obedience, and instructions for righteous living. By immersing ourselves in the Word, we establish a solid foundation of faith, develop a deeper understanding of God’s will, and allow His Word to transform our thoughts, attitudes, and actions. Reading and studying the Bible is an ongoing journey of discovery, comfort, and growth. It is through the Scriptures that we find solace in times of trial, direction in moments of confusion, and encouragement for our spiritual walk. Let us commit ourselves to the regular reading and study of the Bible, embracing its transformative power as we seek to draw closer to God and live according to His Word.

3. Seek Out Your Spiritual Gifts

Discovering and utilizing your spiritual gifts is a crucial aspect of strengthening your relationship with God. Each individual is uniquely gifted by the Holy Spirit to contribute to the body of Christ and fulfill their purpose in God’s kingdom. To seek out your spiritual gifts, begin by earnestly praying and asking God to reveal them to you. Reflect on your passions, talents, and the areas where you feel a deep sense of fulfillment and joy when serving others. Seek guidance and wisdom from mature believers who can help you discern and affirm your gifts.

Engage in various opportunities for ministry and service, and observe where you experience the greatest impact and effectiveness. Study God’s Word to understand the different spiritual gifts mentioned in Scripture and how they function. Be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit and step out in faith to use your gifts for God’s glory and the edification of the church. Embracing and utilizing your spiritual gifts not only strengthens your relationship with God but also allows you to play an active role in building up the body of believers and impacting the world around you for His kingdom purposes.

The True Meaning of Resurrection

We all know that God has sent his own one and only son to pay the price of our sins. This proves to us that God’s love for us is unconditional. And now whoever believes in Him shall not perish but will have eternal life. Even when we were sinners he paid the price of our sins. In this article we will dig deeper in the meaning of resurrection:

1.Jesus is the Only Savior

As mentioned in (1 Corinthians 15 3:4). Jesus is the only savior for our sins. Someone has to die for our sins to pay the price because everyone was sinners and sinners can’t die for their own sins or for themselves to pay the price for their sins. That’s why God sent his own son to come to earth and pay the price for our sins.

2.Spiritual Sacrifices

We see in the Bible that before Jesus paid the price for our sins. The Priest stands and performs his religious duties. And bring sacrifices to the Lord. If we compare this example to nowadays we see that as a believer we can offer spiritual sacrifices. Like to stay away from doing any wrong acts, to commit God all by our hearts and by thanking God for every blessing that He has given in our life. And also believing in God completely only then we can go to Heaven.

3.God is Saving us from His own Wrath

God has sent Jesus to earth to die for our sins because He wants us to be saved from his own wrath. God becomes angry on the basis of His righteousness. God can never tolerate sins or He cannot live with sin. As mentioned in (Rom. 1:18) that his anger is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. He wants to save us from his own anger that’s why he sent his son Jesus to earth.

3 Reasons Why There is Sadness in the World

We all know as a christian that Adam and Eve sinned. The Lord put curses on all Mankind.. Our God cannot leave with sin, He is the Most Glorious God. As mentioned in Habakkuk 1:13 God’s eyes are pure too look on evil, He cannot tolerate wrong. God cannot tolerate any wrong thing. He is the most righteous. That’s why He sent His own Son in the world for our sins. And whoever believes in Jesus Christ shall not perish but will have eternal and everlasting life.

Following are the 3 Reasons Why There is Sadness in the World

  1. Lack of Understanding of God’s Will

Sometimes as children of God we’re unaware of God’s purpose for us. His will for us is to stay forever with Him in His heavenly kingdom. To worship Him and pray to Him. To fully commit ourselves to Him. As a believer, it is our duty to read the Bible to know God’s will for us. We should have a 24/7 connection with God.

  1. To Fear is to not Trust God

In order to grow our trust in God, we must have a good relationship with Him. By reading the Word of God and by continuously praying we can have a good relationship with God. And will grow our trust in God. We have to see our authority that He has given us as His children. Through His name we can do anything we have faith. Nothing is impossible for our heavenly father.

  1. Lack of faith in God’s Promises

Having faith in God is the most important thing in the spiritual journey. It is the faith that give us the assurance that Jesus Christ will come again to take us with him. And it is written in the Bible without faith we cannot please Him. It is the first step in a believer’s life to fully have faith in God. And Believe that He is our saviour and our Heavenly Father.

“Understanding Our God-Given Authority: A Biblical Perspective”

We see in the Bible that before even the sin happens God has given us the authority over fish of the sea, and over the birds of Heaven, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Sometimes, as believers we are unaware of the authority that God has already given us. And when we fully commit ourselves to Jesus Christ we become a new creature in Christ. And Because of the Blood of Jesus Christ “A New Born” Believer has more authority than the First Adam. According to “Luke 10:19” as believers we have the authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt us.

Sometimes we just read the Bible and we don’t let the spirit come alive. As a Believer of God, we have the complete right to put the devil under our feet. We all have power and authority but we don’t use it. And the authority that God has given us will never leave no matter what happens in our life. God has given us a free will and he will never take that from us. He wants us to come to Him with all our hearts.

Following are Three Authority that God has Given Us

  1. Everything that we Speak is a Seed that we Sow

Everything that we speak will go in the spiritual realm. Every word that we speak is not innocent either it will kill us or save us. By killing I mean that the wrong words that we speak will definitely come true because God has given us the authority that whatever we speak will become true if we have full faith. That one decision of speaking will either take us to Heaven or Hell. As mentioned in Proverbs 18:21 “ The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

  1. Authority to tread on Serpents and Scorpions

We have been given the authority to rule over all the power of the enemy. But, sometimes we are unaware of the authority and we give that authority to the enemy to rule over us. To make us feel helpless, stressful and depressed. It is our duty to teach others believers of the authority that God has given them. We must keep in mind that God is always there for us no matter what happens in our Life, He will never leave us or forsake us.

  1. Authority to Heal Every Disease and Sickness

We see in Matthew 10: 1, that Jesus called His twelve disciples and gave them authority over every disease and sickness. We must know as Believers our authority over any disease. We should never allow any disease or sickness to rule over us. We must pray and ask The Lord to remove the sickness from us. God has given us the authority to heal any kind of disease or sickness.
